We are hiring a cook for the Akron area, great opportunity!

The cook position is responsible for preparing and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. This is a part-time position 8 am to 5 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous kitchen experience preferred. Reliable transportation is required. Dedication to the mission of serving homeless women and children a must.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Preparing meals for Emergency Shelter
2. Maintain clean kitchen based on standards of the Kitchen Supervisor
3. Prepare coffee, water and snack baskets as requested.
4. Responsible for adhering to all policy and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook and other department procedure manuals.
5. Meeting set-up to include food, drinks, tables and chairs
6. Assist with stocking food and cleaning supplies
7. Work with kitchen volunteers
8. Other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor

ACCOUNTABILITY: The cook position reports directly to the Kitchen Supervisor.

$13.57 an hour
