Akron-based telecommunication construction company is looking for two (2) general laborers to join their traveling construction team!SHIFT: 1st (7a-5p) NO WEEKENDS
Workers will arrive at the client location and travel to job site somewhere in Ohio and Pennsylvania and stay at a hotel through Wednesday night. You will travel back home after Thursday work day. Fridays are spent at the shop loading the trucks for the following week's work from 7a-12p.
40-60 hours MAX work week with NO WEEKENDS!
PAY: $18-40/hr. depending on experience.
Telecommunications Construction Technician performs installations, construction and maintenance of various underground telecommunications systems. The development and maintaining of network infrastructures essential for digital connectivity of communications towers and wireless technology.
Duties shall include:
- 1 year in general construction such as civil and electrical
- High school or equivalent
- Work in all weather
- Work all year
- Understanding of AC/DC power systems
- Excavation, backfilling and site restoration
- Installation of basic electrical and fiber PVC systems
- Installation of grounding systems
- Encourage personal growth with the telecommunication industry
- 6 paid Holidays
- Paid 2 weeks off (Thanksgiving week and Christmas week)
- 40 to 60 max hours weekly
- No Weekends
- Day Shifts with Overtime
