Job Summary:
The medical assistant is a member of a team of professionals dedicated to providing quality healthcare to patients by assisting the physician in performing various clinical tasks and acting as a communication link between patient and physician.
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Rooming patients and collecting health history, medication lists, vitals and entering the information into EHR
• Answer phone calls from patients and triaging medical questions to the physicians.
• Medication refills and prior authorizations
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:

• Medical Assistant Certification
• EHR experience preferred but not required
