The Account Manager acts as the Customers’ representative at Accurate Staffing, making sure that candidates are placed in accordance with the quality expectations of both Customer and Accurate Staffing. The account manager is responsible for performing a variety of operational and human resource support functions. Ensures complete and accurate entry and maintenance of employee database and all employee records and files. Handles employee sourcing, interviewing, screening, testing, and candidate evaluation. Completes assigned reporting functions involving attendance, termination, re-hire, placement eligibility and other information as assigned. Administers Accurate Staffing orientations and customer specific orientations prior to placement in addition to required testing. Performs general office support functions and assists area personnel as necessary. Assists Operations Manager as needed.
· DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination and working relations with Customers and customer’s representatives
Confirms understanding of orders placed, functions and requirements of jobs, company policies including but not limited to time recording procedures, dress code, etc.
Communicates candidate’s information such as name and qualifications prior to starting date
Follows-up with Customer representative to check if candidate arrived for their scheduled shift and to solicit feedback on candidate’s performance after each shift
Checks-in bi-weekly with inactive accounts to see if we can assist with staffing needs
Coordinates with Customers and designees, answers question and provides, assistance in a manner consistent with the Company’s goals and objectives
Keeps Customers informed of all call-ins or other activities as well issues or problems such as work-related injuries, etc.
Attends and participates in meetings when required by management
Supports Customers and designees in training initiatives
Supports Customers and designees with personnel issues
Responsible for establishing and maintaining professional working relations with applicants and/or working/placed candidates
Presents customer expectations and Accurate Staffing requirements through orientation to all candidates scheduled to start on assignment
Contacts candidates the evening/day prior to the start of their shift to confirm that they shall report as scheduled and to verify that they understand what the job requires
Conducts post-start interviews daily during the first week and weekly afterwards until the completion of the assignment or until the candidate receives and offer full time employment
Counsels working employees about attendance issues, violation of company policies, not meeting job expectations
Updates employees’ profile constantly especially about job offers and interviews, job acceptance, job rejection, unemployment claims, worker’s compensation claims
Responsible for effectively recording, maintaining and reporting human resource information
Maintains the human resource database. Assures that the system records are accurately recorded and cross-checked. Enter Applicant/Payroll and Tax data (I9) for all candidates into database no later than twenty-four (24) hours after the candidate has applied
Verifies employment eligibility as required by the Department of Homeland Security Pilot Program and internal procedures (Everify) and Accurate Staffing's background requirements
Makes reasonable attempts to verify at least one of the references for each candidate no later than two (2) weeks after the candidate has applied; either by mail, fax and/or phone. Each contact must be documented and maintained in the staffing system
Administer Drug Testing and Safety Responsibility testing prior to candidate placement and document results in staffing system. Process background checks pre-placement and document results in the system
Ensure that all files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures
Accurately scans, renames and uploads all associate documents accurately and into the correct employee profile. Same with your assigned clients
Responsible for managing an array of accounts to ensure continued business
Generate weekly orders
Build new business relationships with existing industry contacts
Make sales calls, prospect calls and upcalls
Performs related duties as may be required or assigned from time to time
Able to multi-task in a fast work environment

Basic understanding of human resource functions
Knowledge of related computer applications: MS Word, Excel & Outlook
Highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision
Accurate and attentive to details
Excellent written and verbal communications and public relations abilities
Ability to operate telephone, PC, copier and other business machines
Must be able to solve problems and deal with variety of situations in a professional manner in a fast paced and changing environment
Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Must have prior experience working in the Staffing industry.
