Job Summary:
The Process Engineer's primary focus is the creation of production processes through scientific injection molding techniques and root cause analysis. Dedicated to evaluating existing processes and configuring new manufacturing systems to develop the best practices within the production process.

Essential Functions:
Duties may include, but are not restricted to, one or more of the following:

• Read and maintain a working knowledge of Quality Procedures
(QP-09) and Work Instructions

• Summarize previous day's activities and issues to Plant Manager

• Maintain knowledge of production schedule to ensure technical
issues are acknowledged and addressed to support the schedule

• Interface with the Plant Manager to review reduction projects
for cycle and scrap through controlled planning as it relates
to process and other technical issues

• Create and administer training programs for Process and Mold
Setup Technicians on new equipment

• Establish injection molding and robotic process for all new
jobs

• Assist in all automation projects

• Act as a technical lead in new mold sampling, DOEs, material
samples, engineering changes and specific directives called for
in Sample Requests

• Be an active member of the NPL/APQP team and help oversee all
first production runs

• Provide technical guidance for mold design and process support
to the organization

• Actively involved in recognizing and implementing continuous
improvement projects

• Maintain Process Sheet database

• Develop new SU's and Process Sheets as necessary

• Strong advocate of documentation and communication with all
Process Technicians


Qualifications and Requirements:

• Able to work alternate shifts to provide coverage

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent

• Regular attendance and punctuality

• Experience: 1O+ years processing experience in injection
molding field

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Good interpersonal skills

• Computer Skills: Proficient with computers

• Ability to pass lift truck program

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

• Ability to climb a ladder using proper PPE

• Able to work OT as needed

This is a Direct Hire position with a Growing Company

Salary: 125,000 - 150,000
