Position Summary: Operates production equipment to meet quality and production targets.

a. Pay: $14.48/hr. -Opportunity to go higher after additional training on the job
b. Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) and 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) OT as required
c. First 3 weeks is on 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) for training

Essential Duties:
• Follows all safety procedures
• Operates one or more pieces of equipment in a safe and efficient manner to produce quality products while keeping a quick pace
• Performs compliance checks and completes paperwork, documentation and reports
• Visually inspects wheels for defects or malformations
• Ensures the quality of the parts that he/she produces - including the inspection of all dimensional requirements according to the control plan and overall appearance of the parts
• Completes required paperwork
• Participates in TPM activities
• Ensures that 5S requirements are met
• Assists in problem solving of identified problems in the department

Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years experience using a smart phone or computer to enter data

Physical Demands:
• Lifting : Medium - Lift on an occasional basis a maximum of 40 pounds with frequent or constant lifting of 25 pounds
• Standing: Constantly (greater than 80% of workday)
• Walking: Constantly (greater than 80% of workday)
• Bending and Twisting: Constantly (greater than 80% of workday)
• Temperature Extremes (percent of time working in non-climate controlled, production environment): Constantly (greater than 80% of workday)
