Applying for: Material Handler - Walton Hills

10am - 10pm OR 10pm - 10am

$15-16 per hour depending on experience ( + .50 diff. for 3rd shift) + bonus every 6 months

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Loads, unloads and moves materials within plant

  • Loads material bins

  • Bands material (metal/plastic)

  • Packing pallets

  • Labels and weighs material

  • Pulls and prepares materials for upcoming jobs

  • Processes a large amount of paperwork

  • Regular and punctual attendance

  • Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management

  • Training will include other duties on the production floor to help understand all positions and processes.


Skills and Requirements:

  • Tow motor driving

  • Must be able to read and write.  Must be able to read a tape measure  Proficient at basic math.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Must be able to work in a team environment

  • Able to communicate clearly with co-workers

  • Able to lift up to 50#

  • Able to use hand tools such as hammers, circular saw, table saw, band saw and nail gun  Able to multitask and self-organize

  • Must be able to handle a very high pace

  • Must be good at organizing

  • Follow written safety procedures

  • Must have worked in a general warehouse setting

  • Previous extrusion experience and knowledge of plastic sheet extrusion process a plus.


Education Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED minimum

  • Fork lift Certification a plus

  • Basic computer skills a plus
